Who We Are

Fred Marshall, the founder of CBD Mendo, is originally from Southern California. He graduated from Stanford in 1968, then attended and instructed in the horticultural school of Alan Chadwick, the founder of the “Biodynamic-French Intensive” approach to agriculture. Fred has been applying this approach for 45 years, in addition to instructing at the Mendocino Community College, Mendocino County schools and at agricultural seminars.
